Visa Requirements

  • A completed and signed visa form (please attach to the visa form both original and photocopies of the required documents, including the passport photo page and yellow fever card).
  • A passport that is valid for at least six months before the expiry date.
  • The passport must have an unused page for visa endorsement.
  • Please allow a minimum of seven (7) working days after presentation, excluding weekends and public holidays, to inquire about the status of your visa application.
  • All applicants must submit their applications in person.
  • Filing a visa application does not guarantee that a visa will be issued automatically.
  • Failure to submit required documents may cause delays in the processing of the visa or even rejection of the application altogether.
  • Applicants can either collect their passports in person or delegate another person provided that he or she comes with a letter from the applicant and proof of identity, as well as the receipt issued as evidence of payment of visa fee.
  • Validity of the entry visa starts on the day the visa is issued.
  • All South Sudanese travelling to South Sudan on foreign passports are required to also apply for a visa.
