Juba, February 10, 2025 (MFA&IC) — The Honorable Ramadan Mohammed Abdallah Goc, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a copy of the credentials from Ms. Noala Skinner, the Representative of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to South Sudan.
The Minister formally welcomed Ms. Skinner, who will await official accreditation by H.E. the President before she can begin her diplomatic duties.
During the meeting, Ms. Skinner pledged to work collaboratively with the South Sudanese government and its people. She emphasized UNICEF’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with South Sudan and to providing humanitarian support.
The Honorable Minister acknowledged UNICEF’s ongoing support for South Sudan and expressed gratitude for its contributions toward addressing humanitarian challenges. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to collaborating closely with UNICEF and thanked the organization, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of South Sudan, for its unwavering support.
