Juba, 10 February 2025 (MFA&IC) – The Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ramadan Mohammed Abdallah Goc, held a productive dialogue with H.E. Ambassador Gershon Kedar, the distinguished Ambassador of the State of Israel to South Sudan. Their discussion primarily focused on exploring ways to strengthen and enhance bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
During the meeting, they examined various collaborative opportunities across sectors such as education, health, sports, and other areas of mutual interest. Minister Goc expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the ongoing partnership and emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between South Sudan and Israel. He also requested the State of Israel’s support in advocating for South Sudan, particularly regarding the arms embargo issue.
Ambassador Kedar kindly updated the Minister on Israel’s initiatives in South Sudan and outlined future plans aimed at furthering cooperation between the two countries.
