This morning, the Honorable Ambassador Monday Semaya K. Kumba, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a productive meeting with H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the African Union Commission, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The meeting focused on the current political and security situation in South Sudan. The two exchanged views on issues related to regional stability and continental solidarity.
Ambassador Monday congratulated H.E. Youssouf on his well-deserved election as Head of the African Union Commission, wished him success in his tenure, and assured him of the support of the Government of the Republic of South Sudan.
