Juba, 10 November- 2024 (MFA&IC) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Ramadan Mohammed Abdallah Goc, has returned to Juba on Saturday following a successful official visit to the State of Kuwait.
Speaking to the Media upon his arrival at Juba International Airport, Hon. Goc highlighted that the delegation, led by the Presidential Advisor for Security Affairs, Hon. Tut Gatluak, included the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Hon. Albino Akol Atak.
The delegation participated in a conference on combating terrorism and strengthening border security mechanisms, organized by the United Nations, Kuwait, and Tajikistan. Hon. Goc shared South Sudan’s experience in border protection, highlighting recent Memorandum of Understanding signed with neighboring countries.
In addition to the conference, Hon. Goc held several sideline meetings with Kuwaiti institutions, including the Kuwaiti Development Fund. Discussions focused on potential development projects in South Sudan, underscoring the mutual commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and exploring avenues for development cooperation.
