Juba, 11 February 2025 (MFA&IC) – The Institute for Diplomatic Studies had the honor of inaugurating a three-day lecture series centered on Modern Versatile Diplomacy and Advanced Diplomacy under the esteemed guidance of its Director General, Ambassador Ajing Adiang Marik.
In his inaugural address, Ambassador Marik warmly welcomed the distinguished guest lecturer, Israeli Professor H.E. Amb. Dr. Itzhak Gerberg from the University of Haifa in Tel Aviv. He highlighted the valuable opportunity for South Sudanese diplomats to glean insights from Israel’s rich diplomatic experience.
Moreover, the Israeli Ambassador to South Sudan, H.E. Amb. Gershon Kedar expressed his enthusiasm for these lectures as a testament to the constructive partnership between nations. He conveyed his anticipation for continued collaboration with South Sudan’s Diplomatic Institute, fostering deeper engagement and shared knowledge.
